	FCRTA represents a unified voice in language arts to local, state, and national policy makers, as well as state and national legislators, in order to influence decisions about reading instruction. The association also provides staff development opportunities which enable reading teachers to meet the educational, professional and social needs of members. Membership is open to all teachers and administrators in Fairfax County interested in reading instruction.
